When one declares oneself to be a conservative, one is not, unfortunately, thereupon visited by tongues of fire that leave one omniscient. The acceptance of a series of premises is just the beginning. After that, we need constantly to inform ourselves, to analyze and to think through our premises and their ramifications. We need to ponder, in the light of the evidence, the strengths and the weaknesses, the consistencies and the inconsistencies, the glory and the frailty of our position, week in and week out. Otherwise, we will not hold our own in a world where informed dedication, not just dedication, is necessary for survival and growth.

UPDATE: Jenn and I were on the show for about 50 minutes, and it was a very interesting experience! Our thanks to Ken and Oliver for having us on and giving us a forum to talk about our place here and conservatism in general. I don't think we broke any barriers, but it was fun! My personal thanks go to Jennifer for being a trooper...she came down with the flu yesterday but was determined to carry the torch...The link is below to listen, and it will be good until 1:00 pm EST, Tuesday. After that, go to The Liberal Lie for playback.

Robert and Jenn stop making excuses! Conservative Convictions should be your number one priority :)!
All joking aside though, I hope every one tunes into The Liberal Lie show on BTW this Saturday at 10:30am EST. I've listened to The Liberal Lie show before and let me tell you it's worth tuning into if you want a solid conservative radio show to listen to in the morning. By just listening to the show you are showing your support to Jenn and Robert as well as the conservative movement!
Feel free to call in when they are accepting calls to ask Jenn and Robert tough questions!

Don't forget that there are four others lurking here as well...and who said anything about tough questions?
I like softballs....
Thank you Robert and Jenn for being on the show today. I think it went well and you participation and answers were great!
See Jenn it wasn't so bad was it !?!?!?!
Keep up the great work!
Ken
Ken, it wasn't that bad! LOL It would have been even better if I hadn't been in the midst of the flu.......but that is a good excuse, so I am sticking with it! I can't listen to it though. Too chicken..... :-)
Thanks for having us, Ken, it was a neat experience!
I agree with Jennifer about it being a neat experience...I hope it was worth your time, and glad we could get broken in to this new media in a friendly forum.
It is a great show...keep up the good work! I hope we get the chance to do it again, especially as we continue here and into the next administration....Have to get the others broken in before they are propelled into a CC show!
I'm going to have to listen!
"Break away from life for a few minutes..." *sigh* I just broke away from life long enough to comment on the above post. :)
Tuesday I will be in Temple, TX, finishing up my Christmas shopping, so no, I'm not going to be able to make it. My bad, but it has to get done. Ken has a good show, and I've been a guest there also. Ken's a natural and has a great radio voice! I'm sure you will both be very comfortable there. Ken has a nack for making you feel that way. :)
Gayle, since you have been on then you know how much fun it can be with Ken! You can listen oon the archive until tomorrow, and then I might put it on the sidebar. I can't speak for Jennifer, but it is my sole 15 minutes of fame...lol.
I've been on AOW's show and LOVED it but it was a scary first five minutes! (to say nothing of the days leading up to it)
I enjoyed listening just now and very much enjoyed the hosts and the guests! Good going, guys!
